My friend has a neon, 2000 model, curb weight 1164, same engine, 9.8:1 comp
Power: 98 kW , 132 HP @ 5,600 rpm; 130 ft lb , 177 Nm @ 4,600 rpm
vs.
my 1996 eclipse rs, curb weight 1255, 9.8:1 comp
- Power: 104 kW , 140 HP @ 6,000 rpm; 130 ft lb @ 4,800 rpm
his car seems to have much more pickup both from stationary start and from rolling start
whats the deal? ps we put 4 bags of 20lb cat litter to even out the weight but still same results

, i would still rather have a rs or gs over a neon even though it's a little slower.
