calgary,
Hi guys I have a stock 93 Eagle Talon ES:talon: 2.0L FWD. Its a nice car in good shape, the last owner that had it seized the motor and ended up replacing it with another 2.0L that they picked up from Japan or sumthing with about 50 000KMs on it. It drives good but I noticed that it kinda slow, even my friends that have Eagle Talons say that it is slow for an Eagle talon. I geuss what im asking, is there anything that i should look at that may be causing it to be slow? anything will help thanks :talon:

You have to be more descriptive. Telling us that its slow doesn't tell us anything. Is it like sluggish? Bogging down? Or is it thats its an n/a car that isn't very quick. Post the symptoms and go from there.

Good luck:thumb:

well i geuss you could say its sluggish, just when i stomp on the gas it accels really slow and takes a while to get up to speed, i think that maybe the throttle cable may need to be tightened i dont think the butterfly in throttle body is opening all that way but i dont know. im just askin if theres anything i could check out, maybe somthings out of sorts?

Have you done a tune-up since you got it (filters, plugs, wires, etc)? Also, make sure that your throttle cable is adjusted so that you get full opening when the gas pedal is down.
