im not really sure what this sound is or where it is coming from. I thought it was one of the belts, but its coming from more of the right side of the engine bay!

Hum...... Given the squeal and that its more on the right side, i would say it might be a tranny noise? It may be a bearing or syncro. Your main bearing on the flywheel may be going..? Hard to say......

See if anything's hitting the fans...

There is no "flywheel bearing," but it's certainly possible that something broke off or found its' way in the transmission bellhousing. See if you can't probe the interior with the starter removed -- if not, you'll have to drop the oil pan to get to the access panel.

Also, does the noise change as RPMs increase?

it usually gets louder...but as the engine heats up, its starts to fade away.

Use a stethoscope to narrow down where the noise is coming from. You can build one with a length of vacuum hose with a nail shoved in one end, if you're on the cheap.

sounds like something hitting off of the flex plate where the clutch bolts on.. possibly the bolt for the guard underneath or even the gaurd itself???
