420A 420a Camshaft Dowel pin

i have a 96 Eclipse that im rebuilding and i started to put the head together and was puting the camshafts in when i saw that the intake cam was missing the pin at the end that keeps the gear from just spinning. Anyways i was wonder if i could just buy a pin for it or have to buy a new cam? If i can buy a pin were at?

I would try the dealer. Check the Chrysler dealership to have them look up for a dohc neon its likely to be cheaper.

P/N (M)06100997; it's a <$0.99 part. Google the part number and you'll find a number of online retailers that carry it.

By the way, I don't think fun kart kid was suggesting it, but Neon camshafts are not compatible with your engine.

The cams are not but the pins are correct, or am I mistaken.
