so i spent all night on the forums doing my home work and such, and i cant find a thing here with any clear cut answers alot of useful info but lacking pictures. I wish to remove my ps and ac to clean up the engine and have more room for future mods i want to add, losing both wont bother me much and i just needed a few answers and could not seem to find a tech article on the 420a removal steps.. so i ask all the 420a wisemen if u could just point me in the right direction. :thumb:

The ps hoses on the steering rack can they just be connected to each other with a bit of hose and worm clamps.
Will i be removing the entire evap system... because i would sure like to half of it is shot
The ac is empty and ready to be pulled just need to know if i need to plug the hole in the firewall, i plan on keeping both fans to run them in a toggle switch so not planning on removing the second ac fan on the rad

did i miss any steps...

I would not recommend removing the Power steering it is very hard to turn at slow speeds without it also at speed it just wants to pull you straight even in a turn.
But if you still want to remove it the easy way is to loop the lines up to a T type fitting and then out to a filter or catch can to allow air to go back and forth between the two chambers.

As for the ac you do not need to cover lines but if you plug them it will keep dirt out if you plan to reuse it .

As for the fans you should be able to wire them very easily using the ac switch you already have to turn them on off manually. The wiring is already there so its easy.

You could remove it and allow the line to the tank to vent . but this will affect the emissions . not sure if you are worried about that or not .
If you allow it to vent you may get gas fumes under the hood . not really a good thing .
