AC / PS removal

Hello all,

My AC and Power Steeriing pump are not working right now and I have no plans to ever fix them. I am getting another car soon and this one is going to be my race car. I have a couple questions. My first question is, is it possible to completely remove the power steering pump and all the lines bringing fluid to it? If so, what if any parts would I need to purchase.

My second question is how much work is it for me to remove the AC components.

In general, is it worth it to spend the time taking them out right now if the car is still my daily driver?

if they are both not working now then its not gonna make any diff. when you take them out. i would highly suggest getting a manual steering rack from a n/t and putting it in. makes turning much more comfortable and stable in my experience.

you can get one pretty cheap from www.car-parts.com but dont forget to buy new tie rod ends.

oh and the a/c is pretty easy to take out..taking everything out clears up the engine bay so its easier to work on things too
