400 hp turbo set up

I'm looking to get about 400 hp and 12's out of my 97 GSX. I'm 17 so i'm on a tight budget. I currently have a Injen intake, Apex'i dp and exhaust, HKS SSQV, Manaul BC, boost and a/f guage, and ACT stage 2 street clutch. I was thinking of going with either a EVOIII 16g or a 20g. for additional supporting mods I would have:

EVOIII 16g:
190lph fuel pump
550cc injectors
GReddy FMIC

or

20g:
255lph
660cc
B&M fuel pressure regulator
GReddy fmic
SAFC II

I know that the 20g would oviously give me more power, but would if be worth it for the money? or is there anything that I should change in my supporting mods? Any help that anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanx:)
 
The EVOIII 16g is a GREAT turbo, and should bring you mid/low 12's on race gas.

Keep in mind that you will need fuel control with those 550's; SAFC, MAFT, or DSMLink.
 
since I would need to get a fuel controller for either set up, would the 20g be a better turbo for the 12s and 400hp goal? or would I be able to obtain that on the EVO 16g? talked to road race about the fuel set up of 550s and a 190lph for the 16g. But would the supporting mods I have listed for the 20g be the correct choice? or would anybody change anything? Thanx for your halp guys:D
 
If you want what you say you want then skip the medium sized turbos go straight into a 50 trim or equivalent. That will be much easier to achieve your goals. Its been done thousands of times and just search around.
 
I was just looking at the 50 trim PTE. That's what I think I will do. Thanks for your help everyone:D
 
A built 6bolt is what you should have also if you want to daily drive with 400hp. Better safe than sorry.

p.s. I hope you take care of that car and realize how lucky you are to have a gsx at 17.
