4 channel amp help

I have my 4 alpines running off a BOSS audio 1000w amp. I ran all the wires to the trunk but only the left side is working. I had it working in all four but the balance was off. The left frontand the back right would work when I put the balance on the left. Do I have the wires in the amp in the wrong ports?

Sounds like you have a some wires crossed. Try swapping the inputs to the speakers around.

The speaker terminals themselves? This may sound dumb but there are two prongs on the speakers a big one and a little one which is pos and which is neg??

Never mind large is positive
