3g master and booster on 1g advice

Thats the plan for me as well down the road. I already have the 3g MC and keeping the 1g BB.

After I finally get my build together I'm looking at 3g master/booster and cts v 4 pots with 2000/2001 cobra 13" rotors...

I have to check, I hope they'll fit under my evo 8 enkeis... I'm pretty sure I saw a few that did them (one for sure on a 2g)

I have that exact setup. CTS Brembos with 13" rotors and a 5mm spacer to center the disc. They clear no problem with my evo 8 wheels but wheel weights are an issue. You'll need to put the 2 wheels that take the thinest (least) amount of weight up front. In the case that all 4 wheels need thicker weights, well... I'm not sure. Even static balancing puts the weights too close.

Ahh good info I never thought about the weights also...

Did you get the kit from strictly with their spacers? Or did you put the kit together yourself?

I was thinking about hubcentric rings and grinding the mounting tabs down on calipers... Did/do you have any issues with the rims free floating, not being forced onto the center of the hub?

The 3g BB combo only further softens the pedal feel right?

not sure which I would like better. Softer for easier pressing or harder for more firm feedback... Without ABS and such a strong front bias I don't want to go slipping around, which would be a bit easier to mistake with a softer pedal..

I will probably go your route first, and then if I do or don't like the feel I will decide to get a 3gBB or not..

Strictly Performance. Also +1on the 3g MC. Besides my brembos up front w/ SS lines, I have brand new calipers and everything else including lines and hoses all the way around. It's on my stock 1g MC and it's terrible. Don't even bother testing it. Although I wouldn't say it's unsafe, it's definitely on the barely usable side. I can't wait to try a 3g. It's tough when you spend all that time and money on a build then get done and go "aww". It's like when you buy some badass roman candle named "NUCLEAR MELTDOWN", light it, and get just single puff of purple sparks. Jon at TeamRip has to look at my transmission so after that comes back I'll install the 3g and give you some feedback.

That's my plan. As I mentioned the 1g MC is complete rubbish. I'll buy both the 3g MC and booster and install them 1 at a time and update.
