420A 3g 2.4 manual tranny in a 2g Rs 420a

I was wondering if you guys knew if a 3g manual tranny from a inline four will fit the 2g 420a.

No. They are completely different manufacturers and share nothing between the two motors

Late 90's and early 2000's. The Neons must have a 2.0 for it to work and PT GT's a 2.4

The shifter arms will be different due to a different design shifter cable. You'll need to re-use the arms from an NVT-350 belhousing.
