30 LB/Min at 20spi about right for a EVO16G?

I'm only flowing about 30-31 LB/Min at 20psi. Does that sound about right? Seems like some guys are flowing almost 40 LB.Min at 25psi...

I have a Hahn FMIC, hard pipe intake, apexi intake, and road race J pipe.

with stock 2g head, cams and intake manifold thats normal at 20psi

Ok just want to make sure it's not the HAHN FMIC. I tweeked my boost controller and ran a boost leak test last night. Didn't find much but it appears to be pulling harder now. I'll get another better log.

Well looks like the turbo was creeping to 20 and falling off towards redline, new log today shows 33.3 LB/MIN with stock head and stock cams. Still my HP numbers seem low.

Because usually I do get some knock. Maybe it's phantom. Just don't wanna turn it up with out getting the water injection installed.

I would try increasing the boost and see if the knock is there. If it is then pull a little timing and see if it helps. You should be able to get 22-24 psi out of it before knock becomes an issue.

Thats a pretty damn good log. Intemp & Cooltmp are good, timing curve is perfect. I also agree. Bump up timing from 3500rpm-7000rpm a couple deg and/or increase boost a few more psi. The reason your Boostest is falling off is becasue it follow AirFlowPerRev, and as you get past 5500 on the stock head/cams/intake VE really takes a dive. If you get a 3bar map I think you will see your still pulling 18-19-20 psi throughout your log. You should also try making a pull logging upto 7500 on that evo3.

The lb/min you origionally posted seemed abit low at 30 for 20 psi but you new post of 33 seems a little better. I still have stock head with all supporting mods & I saw 33.XX @ 18 psi. Throw in a set of cams and you should easily see a couple extra lb/min. This is what I will be doing next to get the most out of the evoIII :thumb:

I posted on your thread on DSMLink as well, but the last log I made showed a peak of just over 33 lbs/min as well.
