I have done the following:
Metal radiator
Upper and lower radiator hoses
180 degree thermostat and gasket
Radiator cap
Fuel filter
New fluid
Spark plugs
Changed oil and filter Mobil 1
Valve cover gasket, half moon seal, spark plug seals, crank angle sensor gasket, oil cap gasket

Since then these are the problems.

1) When changing the crank angle sensor I f***ed up and did not correctly mark it before removing the housing, if I would have I might have been able to correctly replace it to the correct timing adjustment. B/c of this I messed up my timing some how. I tried to fix it at the auto hobby shop with a timing gun but when doing so I grounded something extra which caused it to not show a true reading for the rpms. Basically, I just need to ground correctly before adjusting the timing. The gun indicated that my rps were around 1000 but the car was obviously ideling low and the rpm's were showing around 500 on the dash. When I set the timing gun to 0 the guage showed -5, when I set the timing gun to -5 it read -16.
2) I have been noticing that my car is smoking quite a bit and lately it has been getting worse. It's a grey/white smoke. Before I changed the valve cover gasket it was using about a quart of oil a week but I thought it was coming through the gaskets. I believe it is the piston rings but only a leak down test/ compression test will truly reveal it. Would you happen to have the appropriate tools necessary to do either them?

3) Two nights ago, while driving, I noticed that when I accelerated I heard an awful sound from what I thought was the BOV and I also noticed a huge loss in power, then it would accelerate more and loose power again. This happened a few times until it would eventually plateau. I also noticed smoke coming from my exhaust, the oil pressure would increase and decrease in sync with the loud noise and power.

My conclusion is that the 13-G (automatic) turbo is starting to die. I'm probably loosing oil through the turbo and also the piston rings. Please let me know what you think.
