Just to start off, i have read many threads on here about boost problems and still couldn't really get a answer to my problem.. Ok here is my problem. I just installed a aftermarket blow off valve, a aftermarket boost gauge, and a manual boost controller now most of the time according to the gauge i run 20 below zero till i get on the throttle and it jumps all the way up between 10 psi to 15 psi MAX .. no matter how much i turn the mbc up it does not change the boost levels at all do i just have a defective mbc or have i done something wrong?? any help would be awesome... btw my hose routing is from the turbo housing nipple to the mbc to the actuator and when i installed the blow off valve i didnt adjust it any. i just left it at what it came at.. thanks for the help!!

is the bov recirculated ? or to the atmosphere

recirculating, if i have it vented the engine chugs and wants to stall..
also i forgot to mention i have a mostly stock engine with t25 turbo only after market is mbc, bov, aftermarket oil pressure and boost gauge.. just dont understand why i cant up my boost with this mbc

IT could be a problem with the manual boost controller, it could be hooked up wrong, or you could have a cracked turbine housing causing gasses to leak past the flapper. Another possibility is that the actuator isn't pulling the flapper closed all the way.

What MBC did you buy? Ebay? But re-check the lines to the MBC. Where did you tap the boost gauge?

UNIVERSAL BLUE JDM TURBO TYPE S BOV BLOW OFF VALVE
i tapped the boost gauge into the fuel pressure solenoid according to all the instructions on it i hooked it up to the correct spot on everything i have done a boost leak test and don't have no leaks. so basically i was wondering should the mbc up my boost past 15 psi if it was working correctly??
