chtown,
Ok i have a 91 laser fwd turbo, i just installed a Hahn super 20g and well there is a little bit of a problem. What does everyone do about how close the 3" O2 housing comes to the oil filter?? I went to look for a remote oil filter relocation kit today but they aint easy to find and are pricey. Where my o2 housing is its so close to the oil filter what should i do?? Will my oil get even hotter with the exhaust coming down so close to the filter? Just want a know what other people have done? Oh by the way i use a Mopar oil filter. Any help is greatly appreciated thanks!

Mitsubishi has changed its 2G oil filter design. It is now fatter, but a good bit shorter. The traditional long skinny one is still available, but I went with the shorter fatter one because of a similar situation with my RNR 3" eliminator DP.

Ok i loooked at the little skinny long one and id say that would be worse than my 1g one, because it is longer than the 1g. There is also another style one for the 2g?? Who makes it and for what year?? And is it allright to put the 2g oil filter on the 1g?? I couldnt see why not?? Thanks.

I picked them up the other day froma local Mitsu dealer. Thats what The parts guy gave me. I was used to the skinny ones, so I questioned it. He told me they were redesigned because of some of the new vehicles, like the Montero Sport needing the extra clearance. So they made ALOT shorter and much fatter.Just Go to a Mitsu dealer and purchase one from parts. You will probably get the newer style. Although, the parts guy did say that the skinny ones are still available if I wanted them instead.
