I was wondering if anyone has set up a 3inch mass airflow maft setup on the short route pipes included in the ssautochrome/xspower fmic on a 2g. I know i would have to cut the upper icp and have a beveled edge put on but was just wondering if anyone has done it?

Thanks,

Just measure and cut out the amount that you need to... I dont know how much boost you are running but I have just used sand paper to rough up the area were the coupler attaches and bolt it down... some people also spray hair spray on it to. I have not tried the hair spray. I have heard or people making the lip on the ends of pipes with jb weld also, another thing I have not tried.

Better yet, just take the pipes to a muffler shop and have them bead the ends for $10. The coupler will blow before slipping off if the clamp is tight enough.

Mine, missing my JMfab heat shield. It comes off when I work on the car...
