Velocity efficiency on 2g mass

How do you know if your velocity efficiancy is right after putting a 2g mass on a 1g. I have a 2g mass compensation file and I fine tuned injecter size and timing along with a/f ratio. But I want it to run good at any weather change and altitude. So I want to make sure the 2g mass is as accurate as possible. Also does any body know how timing is pulled or added acording to air temp and altitude? Any info is apriciated. Sence I have lowered timing 2* will the computer still pull timing when air temp is lower than a given #?

Your profile shows MAFT. Do you have gen2 with a 2g maf? Intake temps below 34deg F and above 84deg F loose 1deg timing. The ECU will still pull timing, yes

If you are using the MAFT, Intake temps and Baro are clamped by the MAFT. so it wont matter either way..

The MAFT clamps the intake temperature and baro pressure inputs to the ECU at fixed values and then manipulates the frequency input to generate desired mass airflow reading inside the ECU. But it's still mass airflow, it just doesn't use volume, temperature, and baro pressure to calculate mass. It measures mass airflow differently and then forces or tricks the ECU, however you want to look at it, into producing an appropriate mass airflow reading.
