Hey guys have a slight problem. I have a 3 inch GM MAF and in the middle they have those tiny looking resistor things connecting to the little metal bars running vertically. Somehow on mine one is broke and completely missing.

Anyone know if I can replace this and where I can get on of those little resistor looking things from? thanks jason

Solution
Time to buy a new one, its shot. The GM maf are whats known as Hot Wire mass air flow meters. They measure how fast air is going past them by the reduction in temp on the wire which results in a change in resistance. Over time they just wear out from the hot/cool stress of use.
