Hey all,
I've been trying to get a good feel of my Talon's overall ability since my EVOIII 16G and Dejon super SMIC went in, and I wanted some feedback if you don't mind. For reference, boost is currently set to 15 psi.
From what I notice now, 1st gear is INSANE! It throws you back in your seat and feels as though the front of the car is rising up a bit, and goes by so fast that you have to be paying close attention not to go past redline. 2nd gear, however, is a bit confusing.
In 2nd, the car doesn't quite "feel" as fast as it should. If you punch it from say 2-3000 rpm, it feels boggy and seems like it takes longer than it should to wind through the gear. To test it out a bit I went out and timed it, which is one of the things I'd like your input on. I started at 3000 rpm, stepped on it and started the timer. I went all the way to redline (maybe just a hair over, like 7050 rpms), stopped the timer, and took my foot off the gas. I timed this pull at 4.31 seconds. Does that seem right for my current setup? When I started the pull at 3000 I felt the car "bog" just a bit, but the following turbo spoolup didn't feel that powerful even though it went to and held at 15 psi.
It seems like if I slowly push the gas down starting around 3k-3500 rpms in 2nd, the spool will pull me back into my seat a bit harder. But if I am lower in the rev range, and/or I just floor it quickly, it doesn't feel like it's pulling as hard.
So based on my time, what can you tell me? Does this seem like a decent time? Is the car generally faster in 2nd than it actually feels? As far as the challenge goes, can anyone make a reasonable guess as to what the vehicle might be capable of, as far as 1/4 mile time and 0-60 time goes, based on this info?
Thanks for reading and I look forward to the responses!

, I was driving back from the bank and for some reason this topic poped into my head so I nailed at the bottom of second. I hit red line right around 3 seconds going slightly up hill. I wouldn't jump to conclusion but maybe you'll get a few other peoples times to compair.
