Just installed greddy piping along with a greddy bov (dont know which type) and its trying to boost over 15 and when it does it feels like its hitting a wall, like no fuel or somthing. Like its dead or something idk anyone got any ideas of whats the problem? Every clamp is the tightest it can be. I have a mbc hooked up I believe its the correct way cept that on the BOV theres 2 nipples, one goes to the intake manifold, the other the mbc? The a line from the wastegate to the side of the mbc?

I cant understand whats going on and I cant come close to flooring it.

Major boost leak?

Fuel Cut?

I have uncontrollable boost.

Help is Thanked For Greatly!

Remove and block off the EGR and see what that does. That could easily be creating all your problems. If its stuck open under boost you'll have a massive leak.

Ok update! Did the leak test today and found out some information

#1 leaks is located at the EGR Valve, its not the valve itself but the gasket (I think) I have replaced that gasket before but its leaking at the gaskets cause I had alot of bubbles.

I tried blocking off the EGR today with a gasket and it was still leaking, Need better gasket?

#2 Numbers 2 and 3 injectors are leaking terribly, like it shot the soapy water in my eyes

and thats all I found today....

Thanks for the help yall

Tomorrow im gonna go to autozone and see if they have what all I need and if not ill have to go to the dealer monday.

Ok I put a EGR gasket on, STILL LEAKING OUT THERE but I can pump up 20psi and hold it for 30seconds. I Have ordered the o-rings for the injectors get them tomorrow

I can floor it now but only in first gear

All the other gears when its floored it goes till about 4k and on then stoppes them goes then stoppes then goes

I have posted in your new thread as well. I seriously doubt that the intake tract can hold 20psi for 30sec with a huge leak at EGR and injector seals.

well I pumped 20psi in at the turbo and it took about 34 seconds till my gauge read 0.

Unless you mean 20psi and stays at 20psi till 30 seconds then starts dropping. I might of misunderstood what you said.

Nope, you got it right, as long as the 20psi was read from the boost gauge instead of the gauge on the compressor, you're doing it right. A lot of people said 20psi but what they actually mean is that they set the compressor to 20psi instead of the boost gauge actually registering 20psi.

Well I did set my compessor for 20psi but pumped it on till my gauge read 20psi and stopped pumping and timed it.

The EGR Valve leak isnt HUGE but it is there and the Injector leaks arnt HUGE but they are there and I dont want them.

I can floor it now but only in first gear from then on once it gets to around 4k and on it messes up. So still Boost leak??

If the boost gauge actually registered 20psi, though you still want to fix the leaks, I doubt boost leak is the cause of your problem. I will read this whole thread again when I get a chance later tonight and give you more feedback if I see anything, work is kind of busy today.

Ok thanks oldman

I think my mbc is crap cause no matter what setting it is it doesnt control my boost.

I can explain my problem without you having to read it all over again....

When I give it WOT (floored) the car boostes until I hit about 4k and on then it stops and goes over and over again.

Like the computer is telling it to give fuel then stop ( I think )

It MIGHT be at the higher boosting levels that the leaks is making me to rich the computer doesnt like it so it shuts off.

I get my fpr today so maybe I have to high fp at high rpms?
