420A 2gNT help! limp mode

i just droped in my rebuilt 420a and it goes right into limpmode when i drive it. what should i do?

You didn't change the transmission? If you're getting "limp mode" then that means your transmission is not shifting past 2nd gear. You might want to make sure you didn't unhook any of the wires from your transmission, or that any of the wires didn't get ripped.

The most common cause to "limp mode" is when the shift solenoids go bad.

i got it. i thought i checked everything out but i guess i overlooked a plug that wasn't fully connected. but thanks man good advice
