420A 2gNT Flex-plate or flywheel

Hey guys , somhow my flywheel bolts holding the clutch snapped in half every single one. Could anybody supply the parts number for the bolts if they still make them I’ve looked around couldent fine. Another question is what the clutch pack bolts on to is that a flex plate or flywheel and the parts number for that? Sombody told my a flywheel but they just don’t look right

Any help is appreciated

Even on the manual transmission cars it's referred to as a flex plate. The modular clutch setup bolts to it. If you need 4 bolts I can hook you up.

That’s what I thought but wasent sure. Really that would be sick idk how but I torqued them down to spec but they managed to come loose and got wedged in between the starter is there a way to fix that thread locker I’m guessing is that safe?

I can’t find them anywhere I guess I could look up the sizes and cut them? There probably not the same

No your right they do have 4g63 bolts I’m assuming they are the same I wouldent know since they don’t have a modular clutch

You're not supposed to use any thread locker on them. But it's not going to hurt anything to use some. Send me a PM if you want the set I have, or you can order the set that Dusty was nice enough to drop a link for.

i always use thread locker.
and they come with blue thread locker already on them

Interesting. I don't recall mine having any on them. They seem to be holding up fine with being torqued to the proper specs. Thread locker or not I imagine the OP's bolts weren't properly torqued.

ive only seen them loosen on automatics. but i'm sure your right, the torque wasn't correct.

the only things i really use thread locker on are the flexplate bolts on a modular, red on the bolts to the crank and blue on the other 4. if its a regular clutch i use red for the crank bolts and friction surface bolts on the aluminum flywheels, blue on the pressure plate bolts.
