Hey guys I’m debating on buying a aftermarket exhaust or do a resonator delete and muffler delete on my car or straight pipe my Dsm i just don’t know what would sounds better 🤦🏻‍♂️ Need help what you guys recommend

Just being honest here. Straight pipe sounds like garbage. Even the people who drag race or have shorty systems still run some sort of resonator or muffler.

There aren't as many systems for sale now as there were back in the day. What exactly is your budget? If you have $700+ you can buy an HKS or Invidia. Closer to $300 is the Yonaka and Megan. $200 or less is the Ebay systems. Some people swear by them but I've learned my lesson with Ebay junk time and time again.

I personally went with the Yonaka system. I wanted to keep a muffler in place but get better sound than stock, and hopefully get some sort of gains from the larger pipe diameter and being mandrel bent. You won't notice any major performance gains from an exhaust system but it's there. It also has a very nice exhaust tip compared to other systems.
