Okay so today I was tightening my PS and A/c belt because it was a little loose. After I was done to make sure there were no squeels I tried to turn the A/C on. However It will not engage the green light comes on and it's blowing air but it does not kick on to blow cold air. I know it used to work because I have used it before. I am hoping it just needs a recharge but if not what else should I check for? Thanks

Yeah sounds like you just need a recharge. Go to autozone or your local parts store and you can get the r134a recharge kit. If you can get enough refrigerant in the system then you can see if the compressor kicks on and is still good. just overtime the system alleviates itself of refrigerant and allows air to enter the system slowly and not give the compressor enough refrigerant to kick on. Give it a charge and see how it goes.
