I have a factory auto gst turbo. Im wanting to use for a upcoming project. Forums tend to say 10-12 psi. But will the pressures be different, since the wastegate actuators are different? And would a adjustable wastegate actuator ( like the forge) alow me to lower it some? Im using the turbo on a non 4g63 engine

Im

What do you mean the wastegate actuators are different? The turbos and wastegates to my knowledge were the same across all the 2g eclipse gst and gsx auto/manual. It was the 1g cars that had different turbos auto/manual. I do also know if your car hasn't been rebuilt I'd be very cautious with how much boost you run. The pistons are weak and brittle from age and of course mileage.

2g auto wastegate actuator has a different part number then the 2g manual. This is looking at stm tuned and comparing forge brand actuators. Im just trying to understand if there is actually much of a difference.

Engine it's going on has been fully overhauled with new pistons and everything. I just dont want to push a ton of boost and want to regulate from 8-10 psi

I have a bin full of t25s and side by side comparison I couldn't tell the difference so that's a new one for me. Thats crazy but I'm happy I'm still learning something new. The differences of the housing has got to be so small what was the point in doing it.

Hey welcome to tuners . The only difference in the 2g turbo system is the slightly smaller hotside.
The tune could be slightly different . But 2gs have same turbo and fuel pressurer & cams.
Vs 1gs which I know thing or two. about

Hey thanks for the replys everyone. I was looking into a forge adjustable actuator when this question came up so I appreciate it.
