Got bored this weekend and banged out a concept spoiler for the 2gb Talon. I just needed a little more continuity between the awesome front fascia and the boring 2gb rear end.

At this point, I don't like the curve of the trailing edge, but not quite sure what to do with it. Other than that, I'm happy with the few hours of work I put into it.

Suggestions are welcome.

I think it looks really good! It definitely flows with the 2gb front bumper and side strakes.

Does anyone have a CAD model of the 2gb talon? That would be easiest.

Working on surfacing a model of our wonderful cars.

Here's progress so far. None of these surfaces will be remain in the final model, just getting started.

wow man, nice work :) I know this shit has to be tiring trying to re-create our car in CAD but good on you man. Hopefully youll start making some $$$ off those spoilers if you can find anyone to create them :D

The company I work for could actually do it. We do injection molding, 3D printing, fiberglass, everything fast prototyping. I was just interested in making a one-off for the time being, but we'll see if there is any market for them.

I also thought about making repros of the 2gb front bumper, since they are such hot commodities. There's probably a larger demand for those.

I'm sure there would be a demand for those bumpers and the other item sought after is the 2gb Talon side (door) trim which would seem not too difficult to make.

Neither Rhino nor Alias. Solidworks 2013, legit.

Yes, the bump is completely incorrect. I just wanted to see something there.

By side trim, are you referring to either the rocker panel or the strake on the door? I like the swirlie panels better, and the strake really doesn't do anything for me. Just wondering.

If you can replicate 2ga talon twistie side skirts, with a 2gb talon bumper and then the door strakes, I guarantee you'd make some good money.

The 2gb side strakes would be the easiest to reproduce. Small mold, you could do LH and RH in one mold, etc etc. I would just need one to get it laser scanned. At least we would have data on hand to make repros at any time, even if I don't end up cutting molds.

Here's the most recent update of the model. I'm moving away from making it all perfect once all the surfaces are there, after seeing how much time it's taken me just to get this far. I still need to fix the front bumper and add the correct features, but it's a start. The hood bump still isn't right, but it's a little better. More to come later, possibly. You will notice I slapped on the spoiler I modeled up, too.
