hey guys this might sound like a dumb idea but hear me out for a sec. I have a belize green 95 talon TSi AWD. Theres a guy parting out a black 96 RS for supppperrrrrr cheap on craigslist and he has a 2ga bumper that i need.

So my question is would it look cool at all if i got the front 2ga bumper, the 2 side fenders, and the hood all for under $100 and put them on my car so the front end would be all blacked out and would match the talon roof and the then the talon roof would slowly fade into the rest of the car which would be green?

does this make sense at all? if so let me know because i wanna get at least the bumper this week.

heres what im working with so imagine everything from the fender towards the bumper all black:

that was exactly my thought. its was just one of those things u have to ask about before u do it LOL.

love the black bumper on the white car..... LOL

no this is just an opinion tho, but no no no do not do that, if you do anything at all get the 2gb bumper and side skirts and paint it all one color, much much cleaner, ever see them guys that drive down the road with all different color looking body parts, thats how that would look except your whole front end LOL but thats just opinions its all up to you and what you like :)

ya i agree with you guys. I would really like to find a 2gb talon bumper but they are too rare or too expensive and I work at the Mitsu dealership LOL.

heres the reason why i just want any bumper. this one was cut badly by the last person who had it and its in decent if not horrible condition

ya its pretty sad that so much had to be cut off. its all good though because im not that worried about my front end being a different color especially when i can paint it.

how does my rear end look though? i just tinted my tails and personally i think they look dope.

Nice.. i would love to do that but cops around here will bust me for it.
it does look good.

its actually a mixture of clear coat and some other stuff and it goes on real nice.

FYI my neighbor was the Oakland CA police officer/sheriff for 25 years and i asked him about the legal issues before i did it and he told me there isnt a law in california against it. As long as when the lights light up and retain the red color and its distinguishable during the day you cant get a ticket for it. He even showed me in the CVC handbook that it doesnt say you cant alter the color of the lights, they just have to reflect red.

Looks good, though I'm not a big fan of the smoked look, mostly because of the amount of light it blocks (And there's so many Honda's around here with blacked out lights, to the point that you can't tell when they're braking.)

i like the look too it pretty clean looking. I was wondering what to do with my taillights and maybe I will do that. I have been trying to find a way to debadge it. But there are just not enough body parts out there that look correct on a talon. So I feel your pain on the bumper issue. good luck

i hear you, but cops here do what ever they want. you can get pulled over for a shiny muffler no matter how quiet it is. they call it "modified exhaust" once they have you pulled over then they can pop the hood because of a "safety inspection" and bust you for anything that looks wrong, even if you have a CARB sticker.

I's definately swap them seeing your bumper, plus having a spare front end can be handy, especially witht he way people drive.
