I can't find much information on this....

I have a Talon...I have a complete 1gb Eclipse GST front end. I HATE the Eclipse bumper.

Can the 1ga Talon bumper and grille be used with the 1gb headlights and fenders?

Nope, they are different. For the conversion you need the 1gb headlights, Hood, Bumper and fenders.

As I said I already have a complete front end (hood, fenders, bumper, headlights / corners.

Is the headlight support the corner piece that the corners mount to? Can anything be done so that I wouldnt have to have that piece? I dont know how I would remove it off of a JY car.

Alright, let me say this once more. I have a complete 1gb front end. I have the hood, fenders, bumper, headlights and corners. I want to know if the two itty bitty tiny brackets that the corners bolt to (with ONE screw) are absolutely needed or if I can rig the corner to the original bracket with a ziptie or something?

I know the front ends are totally different....I know this. That's not what I'm asking.

Don't getto-rig shit. Go drill out a radiator support off a 1gb and weld it up to yours. It is not that hard and it will be much more solid and last alot longer (as well as look better). Just a suggestion, I know you dont want things loosening up on you a year or so down the road and have things not lining up and your whole front end looking like crap.

How am I going to drill out a core support at a JY? Battery powered drill isn't going to be strong enough and there's no electrical outlet for an electric drill.

Bring some spare batteries LOL? But serioulsy, most JY's will do it for you. Or you could find a partout ad in your area and ask them to drill it off for you.

The JY I go to is pull your own parts. And the other one I used to go to, they charge out the ass. They sold me the lower rubber radiator stops for $10. They don't let you go to the yard alone and they don't let you touch any of the cars. Unfortunately, those two places are the only two I've seen any DSMs at.

Well is it worth it, or if you really want sell what you have and take everythiing and put into the car you want. Thats what i would do but thats me, seems a lot easier.

I'm going to try it without the bracket and see what happens. It won't take long to unbolt everything. Hood can be unbolted last in case something isn't working out.

I'm sure the corners can easily be held on somehow.
