Resolved 2G Where does white wire with red stripe in engine bay fuse box go?

I found a wire in the fuse box (cond fan) that’s red and white, previous owner had it tied into one of the cables feeding the battery. Where is it actually supposed to connect to? Top fuse in the first picture (20a)

It was correct where it was. That’s dedicated fuse #9, for reference.

Thanks for that. I’ve upgrade the wire size now, could I just put a ring terminal on that red and white wire and run it over to where the 4 white wires used to connect into the fuse box instead of taping it off the larger wire?

Does it matter which of the power wires it connects to?

Wouldn’t matter which white wire. They both are going from battery + to the same side of the alternator fuse.

For that matter, I don’t see a reason you couldn’t add a ring terminal and go direct to the + terminal if that’s what you want to do.

thanks. Might be easier just to run it straight to the battery. Not a fan of splicing into the thicker wire especially with how small this wire is
