I've been working on my engine bay wiring and am left with 1 wire that I can't figure out. In the picture it is the cut wire. It is black and yellow, slightly larger gauge than normal.

I am assuming its a ground based on its color, I feel it came off near the starter?

There’s not another one that is that large and that color combo. Most other grounds are just black.

I think this one is an extra in your case. Did you find this leftover somewhere or are you having a problem that is causing you to ask about it?
There is that wire attached to the terminal connector in the picture already. Would there have been 2 of them?
The other cable in the picture is going to the bellhousing/starter bolt. Is there a separate engine ground as well? Car is a 99, 6bolt 2g head

Yeah it is leftover. I have been slowly working on the wiring and this was in my "to do" box, to figure out later. I've been looking through old pictures and I figured it out. Was on my rvr intake manifold before I swapped it on.
thanks to you both for your time
