2g trouble high idle no power

i have a 98 gst eclipse stock.
symptoms...... the past few days ive had an idle of about 1000-1500 rpm
i changed the oil and took it out and i felt an incredible amout of power so ofcourse i put it to the floor and i feel a buck so i begin to baby it home and then i start loosing alot of power boost gauge says im still getting boost the BOV stopped working and i began to smell alot of fuel pretty storngnd smoking from every angle. I got home with it running like hell and with the smallest alot of gas it would fall on its face but starts back up. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Im also in the rocky mountain area im a young kid way over my head help !!!

Check to see if you blew off an intercooler hose.
