I used a 2g tps on my 1g throttle body, I thought I read it can be done. Finally got around to setting it and I can only get .45v with it at the end of adjustment. Do I need to find a 1g tps after all?

Pictures go a long way since there are several 1G Throttle Bodys.
i’m sorta in the same boat with my 1g throttle body… but i’m able to set it correctly at 0.63v when car is off but as soon as i go to tighten the bolts it bounces back down to 0.59 or 0.61 no matter how tight i try to hold in place so i figured I would jus hav to order a new tps but i dont know for which year to get (car is 98 tb and motor is 92)

2G Car works best with 2G TPS. However 2G's don't set their throttle position based on some magic voltage but on the point where the IPS switches. DSMLink allows that to support throttle bodies that don't have IPS's but the factory code is still in there and works best if you adjust the IPS per the 2G factory specs.
