I just got done doing the head and when I put my throttle cable back in and press the gas the pedal like snaps in between a quarter throttle and full. How can I route the throttle cable correctly? I have the brackets on the fuel rail on and the 2 bolts in the intake manifold.

Is it cruise control?
Did the throttle work ok before?
I mean sometimes people buy a car that was somebody else's project that's all in pieces and then they have to figure out how to put it together. Is that what's happening?

It did work okay before and im assuming it does not have cruise and it is unfortunately someone else’s shitty project I’ve had to fix so much on already

If it turns out that you would like to replace the throttle cable with a new part, you can buy a new non-cruise type throttle cable.
The Mitsubishi part is discontinued, but STM says that the Pioneer CA8919 is a direct replacement.
They have good accurate pics of it on their web page.
Got it fixed, was a issue routing it on my end
