correct me if im wrong but i think i saw in a magazine that msd made a ignition box that had a setting for a 2-step (stutter box) and u could set it anywhere from 1k to 7k RPM.

As you can see, the OP said without an Eprom chip.

Yes. With a MSD DIS-2 box you can have a "studder box" commonly known as a 2-step.

Thanks for the help guys:thumb: and the msd dis-2 is just for the two step? thanks for your time.

Nope, it's also for increasing your spark output.

And from what I read on the Apex'i website, the Gizzmo Launch control needs to be used in unison with the "Tach Recall Shift light".

Apex'i said:
Gizzmo's launch interface integrates with the Gizzmo Tach Recall Shift light to enable the fully adjustable launch control function.

Yeah, thanks bro. i read that to. i was planing on buying both. totals for both combo price is 300 which ain't bad. i talked to a guy from gizzmo and he said as long as i have a ignitor signal wire from the ecu it'll work. Does anyone know if we have this wire? He said we should if we have a tach.

Well i ordered it today. so i'll let you know how it goes once i start to install it.

Very cool. Just remember to also post a product review on it since not many people know about it at all. And link it here so people that come across this can easily find your review on both the installation and the unit. Good luck :thumb:.
