2g RS spoiler

ive searched up and down this site and im desperate to settle an arguement with my friend that knows nothing about DSM's...

he's telling me that some 2g RS eclipse (he wasn't sure if it was the 95-96 or 97-99 body style) came stock with the high rise spoiler...

1. first he said it was the year with the big smiley front bumper (95-96) but then i told him there was no such thing as that high rise til the 97 models so he switched up his story.

2. the only NA eclipses that came with that spoiler were the 10 year anniv. '99 GS eclipse and he swears it was a stock spoiler on an RS.

ive looked up and down the tech articles explaining the differences in the models and years but nothing on the body. i need to prove him wrong but me telling him isn't enough, anyone have a website they know about? i tried finding the factory brochure on the car but the website won't load so im at a loss right now. maybe if every 2G NA RS out there posted on here saying he's a dumbass he'd finally give it up?

Your right the only gs that comes whith the turbo spoiler is the 99 OZ edition ..
No rs ever came whit a turbo spoiler.
The RS is the base model

Most RS came with 3 piece low rise spoiler and some didnt came with it(95 96)

Hahahaha I Know this for a fact...I bought my GS new in 1998. I desperately wanted the high spoiler on my GS but they said I could NOT get it because all of the GS had the 3 piece and there would be holes if they tried to take it off...

THEN the Salesmen offered me the option to get and RS with NO wing and have the High rise spoiler installed....so some of the RS eclipse's DID have the high spoiler. I have seen them.

LATE in 1999 they came out with the 10th anniversry eclipse GS and it also had the high wing

the only n/t the dealer got with the high rise was the 99 gs, but as jeff said some dealerships offered the high rise installed as an option on the rs like jeff said, ### there are a few around here that have high rise on them.
