2g RS 2 GS Console Lid?

I have a 98 rs eclipse and as you know it doesn't have the armrest or console lid, I was wondering what I would need to do to get it on there. I just picked up a console lid and half a console, i guess the person cut it in half? to send it to me off ebay. Anyone done this and can explain how to do this. Thanks

Don't bother cutting bro, it will bolt right in. Go to a junk yard, usually trim pieces will be free or next to nothing; get the center console from a 97-99 eclipse, it only takes 5 min to take out. Pick up some bulldog adhesion promoter and some SEM interion paint and color match it.

Agreed, I managed to pick up a grey console and paint it black, the peices are the same for the lid console and the open back console. A few screws and it's like new.

Only problem I ran into, I had to paint the grey cover black and used Rust-O-Leum (plastic bonding) spray paint. It took a month to dry but seems fine now, looks great. Really love the arm rest.
