I just purchased what i thought was a rear wheel hub assembly from Rockauto.com for my 99 GSX. This is what i received from them. Now, i thought that the hub with the wheel studs and everything came with the assembly? Will this still work?

I believe RockAuto only sells rear bearings for FWDs.

Thats a bearing replacement, you are supposed to press your flange into it. Of course you would have to remove the race on the flange as well.

ive been looking at replacing rear wheel bearings and lower balljoints on my car. rockautos awd rear hub assemblys look nice and much simpler than getting bearings pressed in.

ive never heard of this site though...i usually go to jnztuning for OEM stuff, anybody gonna vouch for rock auto?

also, i know it says awd on those assemblys, but i swapped in my 4bolt rear and it didnt seem like the hubs bolted to the spindle like that, am i still going to need a press or anything special for the $167 dollar pair?

Vans,

Just get the rear bearings from jnztuning. Its 7 different part numbers you need(bearings, clips, seals, etc.) and jnz sells a kit that he pieced together to do the job for $44 a side.
