So I searched and couldnt find my answer altough its probably already been answered, I however couldn't find it. So I have a 95 GSX with LSD and ABS that my roomate pulled the axles out of. I sold the drivers rear axle and now need to ship it but he didn't label them when he pulled them out. The two axles look exactly the same but the dealer said theyre different. How can i tell them apart? Are they interchangeable? Thanks for any help.

If they are the LSD axles, the passenger one will be longer on the side that goes into the rear end. The extension piece will have splines on it and this is what goes into the gear which makes it an LSD rear end.

Ok, so its the cups that are different not the actuall shaft. I'm keeping the axle cups as part of the rear end the shafts from the cv out to the hub look exactly the same.
