Niagara,
I'm thinking about getting an aluminum rad for my 2g N/T. I've been looking through a bunch of threads and been reading about various set ups, such as the fluidyne, etc.
I'm wondering what people with non turbo cars have in the way of a cooling system; rad and fans. What do people prefer with regards to aftermarket radiators and fans? I'd like to know peoples opinions, along with a final price after the systems were upgraded.

Thanks in advance!! I'll continue to search.

If you plan on doing a big build or are looking for high hp numbers in the future, then a racing radiator would be a good choice. C&R (now visteon) and Fluidyne make quality pieces. If you plan on using minor bolt on mods only, then your waisting your money. Even when running low amounts of boost, like 8psi for instance, its not neccessary unless you are going to be making several passes at the track and are concerned about heatsoak ect. I personally just recommend the OEM replacement from radiator barn. If you need extra room then you can always get slim fans. Fal makes some nice ones.

If you're interested I'm really partial to the set-up I made. I used a honda 1/2 size race radiator. A little modification with hoses and mounts. Plus a thin fan. It not only gives you more room in the engien bay, it also allows the cold air to come directly in toward the ram air/engine area. I have driven this in pouring rainstorms and never picked up water. Also, it's lighter than stock :sneaky: . Couple of pic links;

I had a Fluidyne race radiator in my neon before I got my Eclipse, and as far as it went, it really wasnt worth the money for a NA built car anyways in my opinion
