I downloaded the Megasquirt manual and it says it doesn't control spark, you need a seperate unit to control that. MS only takes car of the fuel
MSnS = MegaSquirt'n'Spark.
MSnS is being developed for a variety of applications by enthusiasts of different platforms. MSnS will control spark. Anyone who is serious about wanting this kind of control over their engines will do their homework and find out who to contact for more information or where to find it. I will tell you there is a great deal of information to be had on the MSnS Forums. You don't have to register to search, so do a search on "420A" and see what you come up with. This is still a relatively new technology, but look at how fast it's developing!

And, unlike the computer you're reading this post on, the MSnS won't be running anything other than what you put on it, so it's not like, should a radically new design come out with more power or features in a year or two, your car won't still have full control of your motor.
