2g mas intake installed, but angled???

So I put on a small 16 g and curved the wastegate so that the intake didn't hit it. When I got it on though, it kept hitting the uicp. So we kind of turned it so that the filter comes to the side of it and the whole setup isn't stright. It looks weird and didn't know if anyone else ran into this problem and has a solution or is this just how it will be? Thanks

The FP 4" Intake w/2G MAS didn't fit my 1990 as the inlet was ~3" from the firewall (i.e. could not run an aircleaner). Ended up selling and getting the 3.5" Dejon which allows much more room for short-route piping an air filter and the upper coolant hose

Yeah actually I have a Greddy 3" intake on there now. I have pics and will post to give an idea
