Hey forum,
Long time no talk. Hope all has been well with everyone! :innocent:

I was curious to see what people recommend for a replacement front motor mount for my 2g Eclipse? The current motor mount is shot and its in need of replacement immediately. I am not looking for a performance motor mount, just something that is OEM.

Maybe a particular brand? A website or local store I could go to or have it shipped? I live in New Hampshire by the way.

I've seen the following:
Westar (seen on some online stores)
Beck Arnley (Advance Auto Parts and some online stores)
Duralast (Autozone..)
Anchor (Advance Auto Parts..)

Any help would be appreciated, would sure help out me and other members or DSM owners!!

Pictures of current damaged/worn motor mount... OMG

I'd like to know if Anchor is a good brand. They are very cheap imo. Remember also, maybe I gonna get some urethan inserts.

And is there a tranny mount for manual? I can only find mounts for autos.

I was wondering if anyone was a step-by-step video on how to remove and replace the front motor mount?

I know its pretty straight forward, but I like reassurance :).

You don't need a video. I just cut a V shapped wedge out of a 2x4 and put it between the cross member and the trans to hold everything up and then unbolt the bracket. It's the easiest one to take off. Heres the CAPS on what it looks like Team 2GNT CAPS Screens
