Do you have to Modify an aftermarket body kit in oder to install a FMIC? I also have an auto, and there is somekind of oil cooler in front of the radiator ...do I have to relocate this oil cooler line? It doesn't look like there is much room for a FMIC

That 'oil cooler' is the power steering fluid cooler. You don't need to relocate it completely, but you will have to push it in back of the radiator support. Whether or not you will have to modify your bumper all depends on the bumper. Personally, I recommend the Hahn FMIC because of it's high flow capacity, and it's vehicle specific design. The brackets are specifically made for our car, so there's little chance of the thing being mounted improperly.

Yeah, many power steering systems have a similar cooler. After all, power steering fluid is consistently pumped, and it gets hot just like engine oil.

Hey paul, I trhought the "oil cooler" looking things only came on "automatics" making in a ATF cooler. Now the hardline bar that comes across the front is for powering steering I understand that.

That's what I was talking about. The hardline in front of the radiator is the power steering cooler. The ATF cooler is built into the radiator, like you said.

The few auto's I worked on have a tranny oil cooler mounted on the front driver's side right behind one of the vents on the bumper and the lines run through the radiator and over to that cooler. At least thats how I remember it.
