2g maf to 1g tube?

Hey im new to these cars and i am going to switch my 1g maf over to a 2g maf. I know i need the #609 maf, the tube, the cone filter, and the adapter wire for the 1g harness. Dejon tool has the tube and filter for 150 plus i wont go with a cheap filter but i heard ebay has tubes for cheaper. what do i search for on ebay to find the correct tube? The turbo is a mitsu 20g. A 2.75" tube should fit the turbo but what filter is recommended. Thanks much. Sorry for being such a newb...

Get the 2G hard intake, it mounts right up to the 2g MAF. Then you can get a short K&N filter (RU-3110) to mount directly to the MAF.

Works fine, last long time.

Yep ebay 2g intake pipe..Then buy the adapter plate and K&N filter and your good to go..No need to get the expensive intake pipe..It's just a pipe..

The picture below is my current set up. I am utilizing a Dejon Powerhouse 1g intake mated with a EVO MAS (similar to the 2g). It has a 3 1/8 inch inlet unlike the 2g with its 4 inch. If you want to use a 1g intake pipe then you will need a 4 inch to 3 1/8 inch reducer coupler to fit the 2g MAS, thats if you use an intake like this:

Since the 1g engine bay is differently shaped I needed to use a shorted filter. I bought a 2g/3g/evo mas adapter for a 4.5 inch filter off of ebay.
