2g maf swap for 1g

what 2g maft??. you should recirc the blow of valve with 1g , and 2g mas. GM maf is usually after the Blow off valve so atmospheric blow off valves do not affect the readings to the GM maf/adjusted by the translator.
 
An Apex'i AFC Neo is the newest air/fuel converter. It is a piggyback engine management system that compensates larger injectors utilizing your stock ECU. It doesn't have anything to do with venting a bov.

For that you need a GM mas and the paired translator. Don't worry about venting. It does nothing for performance gains. It's just louder.
 
An AFC actually tunes airflow-not fuel directly. Adding or subtracting the airflow signal will plus or minus fuel. And it's an airflow converter. Not air/fuel. Nor does it compensate for larger injectors. To properly do that, dead-time and global numbers need adjustment. You can't do that with an AFC. You can pull some fuel at WOT and cruisng, though.

It will do nothing to vent your by-pass valve. Why you're dead-set on that is beyond me. But I do have an answer: You're a young kid stuck in the ricer-stage. Have fun venting your BOV for ultra street-cred, son!
 
im getting a different bov and i didnt no if i had to recirc it or not. and whats it to u if i want to hear it. im here to get help from those who have done this before not to have some guy tell me what he thinks i should do with MY car. thank you for your help but there is no need for u trying to put people down cause u might have more experience. thank u for ## time :thumb:

Speed Density and standalone units will allow this as well since the MAF is removed. The Apex-i site doesn't take into account the MAF being before the BOV/CBV.

On MAF applications with open-air blowoff valves, there is a deceleration air correction feature that allows the tuner to compensate for the over-rich condition that occurs at throttle-off. By adjusting the MAF signal at throttle-off condition, the tuner can reduce the amount of fuel injected and prevent stalling.

so you'd be able to tune it to run with the vented bov but it still isnt as good as a maf translator. IMO if you're just looking for the cool noise just build your car to handle more boost and turn it up. more boost=louder bov dump. then you get the best of both worlds. a faster car and the noise.

I can tell you right now it's going to run like crap.

If your going to vent your BOV please do it for a good reason - like to temporarily duct tape a goose call to the port and scare old people walking into walmart. :ohdamn:
