That's pretty much the best laptop based logger for a 2g for cheap.

I don't have experience with tunerstein, but DSMLink may be an available option for you. There are more features packaged with it than just a logger and tuning program as well.

i have a 96 ecu (non-eprom) i just want to log. im just gonna tune wit my S-afc for now

If you dont have your obd2 adapter yet when you buy one make sure it is compatible with tunerstein software. I bought an adapter off ebay and it runs elm chip which tunerstein doesnt support , in not sure which one the do besides the one they suggest. I was wanting to use tunerstein but instead got a pda and am using obd gauge.

seems like everyone is digging the palm loggers i think imma just do that... also i hear most programs are better for the palms

Go with pocketlogger software, in my opinion, the best for the 2g.

i used to use www.obd-2.com i never had a problem with it.
