2g Ignition Cylinder Replacement

Has anyone replaced their ignition switch in a 2g. My key goes in too far and it's a guessing game at how much i have to pull it back out to get it to turn. I bought a new switch and i'm not sure how to get the old one out. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks i searched for ignition switch and couldn't find it. I just took everything off including steering wheel and figured it out already. But thanks anyway.
