2g gsx wont idle

I just got done rebuilding and 6 bolt swapping my car- now it wont idle. I've tried everything to get it to idle and nothing works. I've checked boost leaks, vaccuum leaks, etc.

My mods are 6 bolt, hx35, ebay wastegate, 274 cams, 1000cc injecectors, 255 fuel pump, full turbo back, dsmlink.

My a/f at idle is ---. Sometimes it will idle surge and other times it will just idle for like 5 secs then wanna shut off. My timing is perfect, and i dont know what to do, please help.


Also my wastegate is blowing some air out out idle.

Inside of link, did you enable "Invert CAS" if not, it needs to be checked or you need to swap your injector wires around. Also, have you checked the box to ignore the random missfire code? that should be checked as well. Very common things to miss during a 6bolt swap.

Sometimes you need to put a few drive cycles on the car for it to learn the idle again. This was the case on my buddy's '95 TSi AWD anytime the battery was disconnected for more than a day.

Study your vacuum- many 274 cam users are reporting insanely low vacuum at idle.

That doesn't seem abnormal to you? Generally, --- means either too rich or too lean....either one will cause a poor idle.

Also my wastegate is blowing some air out out idle.

Again, that doesn't seem abnormal to you? The wastegate should be sealed all the time unless it's seeing enough boost pressure to open it. Either you have a defective gate or you're missing parts.

do you have an aftermarket afpr? I would do a double check on your base pressure.
