=[ wont idle

So just installed new spark plugs after not driving the eclipse for 2 months, they ARE the right kind. I go to start it up, idles for about 6 seconds and then shuts off. Every time i try to start it the same thing happens, idle for 5-6 seconds, then dies. I have checked for vacuum leaks, boost leaks, etc. The only thing I can think of is that maybe I gaped them wrong. The manual say between .048 and .053 for N/T and like .028-.031 for turbo. My car is a non-turbo WITH turbo ( 420a turbo ) I gaped them at .050.


Any ideas???????

what were the plugs gapped at that you pulled out? plug wires are right?

wires are brand new.
they were gaped at .030 ish

bought new plugs again and gapped them to .028

same thing is still happening with either set of plugs.

check for a boost leak

ive checked for a boost leak and have found nothing, would a boost leak cause the car to not even idle? anywhere else i can check besides the obvious Ic pipes.
