So my car wont idle,as soon as i let off the gas it slowly dies. When I try to give it gas to boost it just sputters and wont even let me build boost.

Im running super rich at cruise speeds also.

I moved my crankshaft position sensor to get it where I thought it should be.
Would it cause this?

What would not let it idle? I dont think ignition would be an issue?

I just got a brand new maf,so its good. My BOV is recirculated, but where could my vacuum leak be? Would poor timing cause this?

I run really rich when im cruising and then when i try to gas it it stutters and I cant get into boost. Then when I let off it bounces way lean.

Lots of things could cause this. Check the obvious ones first. Check your timing and set it to spec. Check your tps and set it to spec. Go through all your vacuum lines and all the inter cooler hoses and check for cracks. Do a leak down test to see if you have a vacuum leak. Replace the o ring on the biss screw. Clean and inspect the throttle body and put new gaskets on. Make sure your idle is set to spec and the throttle linkage is correct. Always do the cheap and easy things first so you can narrow it down to the cause of the problem and while your at it change the fuel filter. Do all these things and then post back what you found and if you still have the problem.

Ok thanks for the help! I just got Dsmlink and I was browsing through the misc tab or something, and it says you can ground the ecu through link. Is this a trick you can use to adjust the timing ,and adjust the biss screw? instead of grounding the connector under the hood?

I noticed when i first started it after the rebuild it idled perfect, but not anymore. Im wondering if my base timing is out of wack.

Ya fuel filter. Allso you could test your fuel pressure when you change your fuel filter. Could even be timing, but i would do the first 4 things i said before you go check the timing, but thats just me, because im lazy, but remember timing is a very important thing its up to you where you start at first.

Thanks for all the help guys,I found a couple of boost leaks so now it atleast idles,im going to clean the ISC today to see if that helps. I dont have a timing light yet so I will do that.

If it were me i would go purchase a timing light. You will always need it and then you can check your timing and make sure it is in spec.
