Autocross Build 2G GSX autocross/daily

This build journal is for a 97 GSX autocross car that will be daily driven. When I first bought the car is was 100% stock and maintain very well. I am the second owner and the first owner kept all the maintenance records so that was nice! The upgrades will be done in stages according to autocross classes and will not be done in order of how they are listed within the stages.

Stage 1

• 3" exhaust (Buschur racing downpipe and Thermal R&D catback)
• intake up to turbo inlet (INJEN IS SERIES INTAKE W/ BOV RECIRCULATION)
• turbo-manifold (PUNISHMENT RACING TURBO MANIFOLD)
• DSMlink v3

• coilovers (Ksport kontrol pro coilover system) 1.5 lower, camber 1 degree front 2 degree rear, 1/4 in toe out
• Strut Tower braces
• sway bars (RM Racing Sway Bars)
• drilled and slotted rotors
• brake calipers
